Therefore the 191st Annual Orange Parade in the city of Toronto shall take place on Saturday July 9th, 2011. The parade shall form up at the Moss Park Armoury, 130 Queen St. East at Jarvis, and move off at 11:00 AM. After leaving the Armoury via the driveway to the east of the building the route shall be: west on Queen Street to Bay Street; north on Bay Street to College Street, east on College Street to Yonge Street, south on Yonge Street to Shuter Street and east on Shuter returning to the Armoury at approximately 12 Noon. At the head of the parade wreaths shall be laid at the Cenotaph at Old City Hall in memory of all who have paid the Supreme Sacrifice in past and present conflict.

The short post-parade programme shall feature a donation from the County Master’s Fund to the Soldier On Foundation. This charitable foundation is administered by Canadian Forcers Personnel and Family Support Services and assists injured and ill Canadian Forces Personnel in restoring joy and freedom to their lives through various physical and recreational activities.

Following the parade, bands shall be performing in the Armoury and food and a variety of refreshment shall be available.

We again will celebrate the rights and freedoms we enjoy as Orangemen and as Canadians in this public display of our faith, culture and heritage. This parade represents North America’s longest consecutively held such event, a fact that we can all be justifiably proud of. The Parade Marshall is Worshipful Brother Jason Guy and it is asked that all involved again work with him and his team to ensure the success of the event.
