Royal Arch Purple Degree at Toronto County
November 21st, 2009
Members and visitors met in the Toronto House of Orange on the morning of November the 21st for the purpose of conferring the Royal Arch Purple Degree.
With the Worshipful County Master; Wor. Bro. Edward Kelly, in the chair, eight members received their degree from a team of County of Toronto officers. Those receiving the Degree were as follows:
Eric Vincent – Ulster Purple Star LOL 2123 – Hamilton
Andrew Frew – Vimy LOL 2697 – Whitby-Oshawa
Andrew Frew, Jr. – Vimy LOL 2697 – Whitby-Oshawa
Darren Payne – Vimy LOL 2697 – Whitby-Oshawa
Neil Read – Vimy LOL 2697 – Whitby-Oshawa
Brian Watt – LOL 2856 Birchcliff – Toronto
Paul Booi – LOL 2934 – Highland Creek – Toronto
Gerry Morgan – LOL 2934 – Highland Creek – Toronto

Assisting the County Master with the exemplification of the degree were Brothers; Don Guy, Jason Guy, Greg Locke, John Wells, Michael Thomas, Adrian Watt, Thomas Forster and David Griffin. All of the newest Royal Arch Purple Marksmen were presented with certificates to commemorate the occasion.
The Grand Master of the Grand Orange Lodge of Ontario West (R.W.Brother Dennis Glazier) brought greetings from the Provincial jurisdiction and offered his personal congratulations to the brethren.
Near the conclusion of the meeting the County Master led all in observing a moment’s silence in honour of dearly departed Worshipful Brother William Dunlop, an Honorary Past County Master.
The day ended with a luncheon and social time in the lounge following the meeting.
