Annual Kids Christmas Party
On Saturday, December 4th we gathered at the County Hall to celebrate the holidays with our families. The day included a visit from Elsa and Olaf as well as games, balloons and magic. Also there was a visit from Santa who handed out gifts. It was a wonderful day full of laughter, fun and excitement.
20th Anniversary of 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
A historic ceremonial event took place at 11am on September 11th, 2021. The Toronto County Loyal Orange Lodge paid tribute in a Remembrance Ceremony of the events of 9/11 20th anniversary. In attendance was a guest speaker from the US Consulate, Ms. Diane Del Rosario, who thanked the Orange Association for honouring all those who died and were affected in the aftermath of the devastation of the terrorism attacks.
Rt W. Bro. Michael Thomas provided scripture readings and thoughts of remembrance as Chaplain. Rt. W. Bro. Don Guy delivered the Confirmation of Stand Against Terrorism and spoke on the Canadian and American unity. County Master, Rt. W. Bro. Rev. Dennis Glazier welcomed all and spoke on the events, reflections and current status of 9/11 and the way it has changed our vigilance in rights and freedoms.
There was fellowship after the service. Also special note on the commemorative items for sale by Sister Amy Aiken with the proceeds going to Wounded Warriors Foundation..
