200th Parade Update!Hello Once again!
It has been some time since our last update, as we wadded through some unexpected difficulties but perseverance has paid off and we have a lot of good news.
Our 200th Parade in the city of Toronto, will still be held on Saturday July 16th 2022 assembling on the South Grounds of the  Legislative Buildings, Queen's Park. Members are asked to arrive and be ready to march off at 11:00am sharp!
Our previous update had our Parade route ending at the Liberty Grand at Exhibition Place, but to due to the City Event organizers this was not available to us.  So putting our heads together we decided that we would change directions and profile one of our most noticeable and unknown locations in Ontario, the Loyal True Blue and Orange Home location in Richmond Hill just 40 minutes north of our Parade New Parade route. Coach buses have been engaged to move you from the Parade route to the Home and returning you back to your pick up location.
The L.T.B.& O. Home is celebrating their 100th Year in serving their local community and indeed the Orange Association in Ontario.  It is recognized across Canada and has played a significant roll over the years along with other similar facilities around the Province and Canada.
Since 1921, the Loyal True Blue & Orange Home has been committed to an active partnership with students, parents, staff and community programs.
The Home was originally incorporated as an orphanage, providing a home for hundreds of children over many years. In the early 1980’s, the Ministry of Community and Social Services closed all orphanages and made the change to using foster homes rather than orphanages. The Board of Directors, in keeping with their dedication to children, opened a childcare centre.
The Home’s board of directors, keeping to their dedication to children, established a small child care centre. Today we still operate the same centre, open Monday through Friday. We are a non-profit charitable organization, known for our outstanding work and dedication to serving the needs of families. We continue to grow and expand our work to help the community and its changing needs.
Further details will follow quickly as we confirm our support partners but that's not all!
To accommodate our New Post Parade venue we have changed our Parade Route.  This will be available on our New and Updated Flyer which will be available in the next short while.
In our next Update we will have details of the accommodations that are available for our overseas travelers.
Please look for our Next Update ASAP!.
Thank You and No Surrender!
